Shopboxo App is our new product that helps entrepreneurs, brands and SMEs to create online stores within minutes and start selling their goods and services online directly to consumers. Shopboxo provides all essential tools for businesses to run their businesses online, such as product catalog, advanced design functionality, order management, payment and shipping integration.

We are looking for an experienced Backend (Python/Django) Engineer to join our amazing product team to work on our Appboxo Miniapp Platform with global focus. The role is fully remote.

Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable backend systems using Python and Django

Design and implement APIs and microservices

Optimize database schema and queries for performance

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the system meets the business requirements

Troubleshoot and debug issues in the system

Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code

Mentor and guide junior developers on the team

Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in backend development

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field

At least 5 years of experience in Python backend development

Strong experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices

Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, Postgres, and MongoDB

Strong understanding of software design patterns and principles

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform

Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Experience leading or mentoring a team of developers

Experience with Django web framework
