Appen is gathering German speech data to help train and improve AI algorithms for better speech recognition technologies. We need participants from Germany to read our prompts, create their own prompts, and then read them aloud using our Appen Mobile app.

TASK: The task contains a total of 209 prompts that you need to read, write and record using Appen Mobile app. Make sure to follow the instructions provided there.

PAYMENT: The pay rate for this task is listed on our website and app. To earn the pay rate, your session must pass our quality checks according to the provided instructions. The pay rate is for all 209 accepted recordings, not for each recording individually. If your entire session is not accepted, unfortunately, no payment will be made.

REQUIREMENTS:

-Must have an iPhone

-18 years old or older

-Must be a native speaker of German residing in Germany

-Be able to record in a very quiet indoor environment, free from background noises
