Join the CrowdGen team as an Independent Contractor for Project Vegavis. Join our team to help build AI-powered speech recognition and moderation models! We’re looking for native Azerbaijan (Azeri) to play a key role in shaping our innovative initiative. Your input will make a real difference!
As an AI Transcription Specialist, you will be responsible for producing highly accurate transcriptions of speech in Azeri. Your efforts will play a key role in improving AI-powered communication tools. This project focuses on developing advanced speech recognition models for the Azeri language.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately transcribe conversational telephony speech in Azeri, following the provided transcription guidelines.
- Ensure high-quality transcriptions to help develop AI speech recognition models.
- Apply linguistic knowledge to ensure correct spelling, grammar, and pronunciation.
Requirements:
- Native proficiency in Azeri - Azerbaijan (required).
- Strong attention to detail and an understanding of basic linguistic concepts.
- Good reading comprehension skills in both Azeri and English.
- Ability to follow guidelines and apply rules to data accurately.
- Familiarity with Azeri spelling conventions.
- Prior experience in transcription and annotation of acoustic data.
- Reliable internet connection
- Availability to commit 10-20 hours per week
This role is a project-based opportunity with CrowdGen, where you will join the CrowdGen Community as an Independent Contractor. If selected, you will receive an email from CrowdGen regarding the creation of an account using your application email address. You will need to log in to this account and reset the password, complete the setup requirements, and proceed with your application for this project-based role.
$5 - $5 an hour
You will be paid per item you submit throughout this project. The hourly rate of $5.00 USD is what you will earn when you meet the expected throughput rate per hour. The expected throughput for Vegavis is 60 utterances per hour. Therefore, the pay rate of $0.083 is the minimum amount you can earn for transcribe per item.
