We are looking to hire our first Inside Sales Representative to build and lead Applied Intuition’s Inside Sales team in Tokyo, Japan. The primary focus of this role is enabling sales growth through pipeline development. This role will be a critical component for the success of our business. The primary focus of this role is enabling sales growth through pipeline development in APAC. Our ideal candidate is someone who has experience building a pipeline with new logos and expanding to new verticals. Based on performance, this position has a unique career opportunity for the candidate to not only grow into an Account Executive position but potentially close the initial pipeline that they themselves prospected.

At Applied, you will:

    • Drive highly qualified sales opportunities through self-managed industry and customer research
    • Coordinate top-of-funnel demand generation hand-in-hand with our Japanese field leadership and Applied’s global executive team
    • Lead and own outreach efforts, including technical demonstrations, for new prospects
    • Learn Applied’s software tools and professional services use cases in depth
    • Strategize with internal stakeholders (product, engineering, marketing); identify and stack-rank new verticals and industry players; suggest future product roadmap based on market trends

We’re looking for someone who:

    • Has 3-5 years experience in a quota-carrying role at an enterprise software sales organization
    • Working fluency in Japanese
    • Demonstrated repeated success achieving targets/quota throughout sales cycle
    • Conveys technical concepts in an easily digestible and consultative manner
    • Is comfortable owning and developing customer relationships, end users through C-level
    • Has extraordinary time management and organization skills to drive rapid pipeline growth worldwide
    • Has a persistent and positive attitude toward the role, follows up with prospects, and tracks progress to close

Nice to have:

    • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM
    • Experience with, and understanding of, 2-5 year trends in autonomous systems across disparate industries
    • Working fluency in Korean
