LOCATION: Apply Digital is hybrid/remote friendly. The preferred candidate should be based in the Greater Toronto Area of Canada, working in hours that align to ET.


We are seeking a Director of MarTech & Data Intelligence who will not only spearhead our MarTech innovations but also harness the power of data intelligence to propel our business forward. This role is at the intersection of technology, marketing, and data analytics, requiring a visionary leader who can blend technical expertise with strategic insight to leverage marketing technologies and data analytics for achieving unparalleled business outcomes.

As the Director of MarTech & Data Intelligence, you will be the architect of our digital marketing and data strategy. Your mission will be to ensure that our MarTech stack and data analytics capabilities are not just state-of-the-art but also perfectly aligned with our business objectives, driving growth and enhancing customer experience through data-driven insights and technology.


    • Develop and implement a holistic MarTech and Data Intelligence strategy that integrates our marketing technologies with advanced data analytics to drive business growth.
    • Oversee the assessment, selection, and deployment of AdTech and MarTech systems, including but not limited to ad servers, DMPs, CRM systems, marketing automation(MA) platforms, consumer data platform (CDP) and analytics tools.
    • Handle vendor relations and agreements, negotiate terms and costs, and keep up-to-date with industry movements and breakthrough technologies.
    • Spearhead the integration and application of marketing technologies to optimize operational efficiency and boost the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
    • Work in collaboration with various teams to ensure the comprehensive utilization of marketing technologies across all mediums, optimizing overall impact.
    • Utilize data analysis to guide decision-making processes, spot trends, and discover insights that inform strategic planning.
    • Set and monitor key performance indicators and metrics to evaluate the success of AdTech and MarTech efforts, analyze performance data, and offer insightful recommendations for ongoing optimization.
    • Serve as a key communicator with all stakeholders, keeping informed of industry standards, regulatory changes, and advancements in digital marketing, technology, privacy, and data management.


    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Data Science, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications in marketing technology, data analytics, or similar fields are highly desirable.
    • At least 10 years of experience in leading MarTech and/or data analytics initiatives, with a solid track record in digital marketing and data-driven strategies.
    • Profound knowledge of the latest MarTech solutions, data analytics tools, and technologies, including experience with CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, CDPs, data visualization tools, and AI/machine learning applications.
    • Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
    • Demonstrated leadership in managing cross-functional teams and projects, fostering collaboration, innovation, and a data-informed culture.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of articulating technical concepts to non-technical audiences and influencing decision-making processes.
    • Agile and adaptive mindset, with the resilience to navigate the rapidly evolving landscapes of digital marketing and data analytics.
