About us: Apply Digital’s Marketing Services division is a rapidly expanding full-service Martech team with team members in the US, Europe, LATAM, and Asia. As a personalization agency, we bridge the gap between creative, marketing, and strategy. We specialize in cross-channel content strategy, creation, and distribution (including email, paid social, push, and SMS), as well as MarTech implementations. We work with over 50 clients, ranging in size from companies like YETI, Upside, and Nutrafol to established marquee brands such as A+E Networks, Afterpay, and Stanley Black & Decker.

We are seeking to hire a full-time Senior Marketing Strategist to provide strategic support to our top-tier clients. 

You’ll engage with internal cross-functional partners and clients to ensure that client business objectives are translated into actionable and impactful digital cross-channel strategies, complete with precise measurements of success and high-quality standards for execution.

Responsibilities:

    • Work directly with clients to provide strategic planning, ideation, and optimization of new cross-channel (email, web, push, social, SMS, etc.) campaign programs, personalization initiatives, and overall marketing calendar planning, primarily for lifecycle and retention programs. Additionally, write briefs and approve all created assets. 
    • Ensure that all recommendations have a clear and concise methodology and are appropriately sized to maximize impact, ease of execution, and confidence in the results.
    • Continually track and develop a clear record of incremental revenue sourced from Ragnarok-owned initiatives.
    • Develop strong relationships and rapport with clients, instilling confidence in agency work, advocacy, and referrals. 
    • Participate in sales pitches and scoping conversations — serving as a multi-channel growth subject matter expert and helping to identify the appropriate level of effort required to support new projects, as well as extensions, renewals, and expanding scopes.
    • Ongoing analytics and optimization support, creating dashboards and reports that show metrics and solutions for continued growth or strategic pivots.

Minimum requirements to be considered:

    • 8+ years of experience providing lifecycle or retention marketing strategy (direct agency experience preferred).
    • Has extensive knowledge in email, SMS, and push channels, as well as top-of-funnel experience.
    • A solid track record of growth marketing successes, and hands-on platform experience with automation tools such as Iterable, Braze, Segment, Klaviyo, Customer.io, etc.
    • Direct experience in leveraging data for complex personalization marketing programs. 
    • Direct experience in providing marketing campaign and program analysis using BI (Looker, Tableau, etc.) or an Analytics (Mixpanel, Amplitude, etc.) tool. 
    • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple work streams and stakeholders.
    • An understanding of AI decisioning tools with current practical application is a bonus.
    • A hands-on approach that delivers sharp strategic insights for clients.
    • Have a strong technical edge and a finger on the pulse of trends as it relates to consumer behavior, cross-channel marketing, growth strategies, and all things technology and digital.

    • Has superior written skills, epic organization, email etiquette, and communication skills.
    • Has excellent attention to detail, with the ability to read through emails and documents and fully take in all information and break it down into tasks.
    • Has worked with project management tools.
    • Has great intuition and a proactive nature.
    • Worked in an organization that has multiple teams and can communicate well cross-functionally.
    • Thrives on opportunity and can manage multiple projects and clients at once.
