What You’ll Do
- Design and Build AI Agents: Develop intelligent, autonomous agents using Large Language Models (LLMs) like GPT, Claude, or open-source equivalents to automate workflows across internal and customer-facing systems.
- Integrate LLM-Based Tools: Architect and implement LLM-driven solutions for use cases such as customer support, sales automation, internal knowledge retrieval, and task execution.
- Engineer Reliable Automation Pipelines: Build scalable, reliable pipelines that connect APIs, webhooks, databases, and user interfaces into seamless automation systems.
- Own Agent Orchestration: Develop frameworks for memory, planning, tool use, and self-evaluation in agentic systems using libraries like LangChain, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, or custom-built runtimes.
- Optimize Performance: Monitor, evaluate, and fine-tune agent performance using logs, user feedback, metrics, and experimentation frameworks (e.g., A/B testing, RLHF).
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with product, operations, and data teams to identify automation opportunities, define requirements, and implement LLM-driven tools that solve real-world problems.
- Implement Tooling Ecosystems: Build internal tools, wrappers, and reusable components that streamline the integration of AI into business systems.
- Ensure Safety & Robustness: Develop guardrails, validation mechanisms, and fallback behaviors to maintain reliability, accuracy, and alignment in automated systems.
- Stay on the Cutting Edge: Keep up with advancements in the AI and automation space, experiment with new libraries, models, and prompt engineering techniques.
What We Look For
- Technical Foundation: 3+ years of software engineering experience with a strong grasp of Python, Node.js, or Go. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and modern DevOps practices is a plus.
- LLM/AI Experience: Prior hands-on experience working with LLMs (OpenAI, Claude, Mistral, etc.) in building chatbots, assistants, copilots, or autonomous agents.
- Framework Familiarity: Experience with LangChain, AutoGen, Semantic Kernel, or similar frameworks for multi-step reasoning, tool use, and memory management.
- Systems Thinker: Skilled at designing modular, reusable, and extensible automation systems with clear abstraction boundaries and good error handling.
- Product-Oriented: Comfortable taking ambiguous problems and turning them into end-to-end solutions with measurable impact.
- Rapid Prototyping Skills: Ability to quickly build proof-of-concept tools and iterate based on user feedback and evolving requirements.
- Analytical & Detail-Oriented: Strong debugging skills, test-driven development habits, and a commitment to system integrity and uptime.
- Security & Compliance Awareness: Understanding of privacy, data governance, and ethical considerations when deploying LLM-based systems in production.
- Excellent Communicator: Clear and concise in both written and verbal communication, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
