AppOnboard is a Los Angeles-based software company empowering creators to build businesses without any programming experience. The company offers two no-code products: Buildbox, the largest no-code mobile game engine, and AppOnboard Studio, a mobile, interactive design studio that enables anyone to create playable ads and app prototypes. 

As our first Growth Marketer, you will report into our VP, Sales and lead marketing strategy for all Buildbox products. You’ll be responsible for creating and executing all marketing campaigns, including paid social, SEO/SEM, digital marketing, and any other creative tactics at your disposal. 


Responsibilities

- Design and implement growth experiments which focus on acquisition, retention, and reengagement of preexisting users of the Buildbox platform 
- Partner with marketing, creative, and commercial teams to develop a go-to-market strategy and facilitate successful product launches
- Actively perform SEO and other search optimization techniques to maximize organic visitors coming to the site
- Manage social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube) and all paid marketing efforts
- Test paid marketing initiatives and ramp up if successful
- Monitor and measure launch features and feed insights back into product development process
- Work with cross-functional teams to help drive innovation, definition, roadmap and design of entirely new Buildbox features to deliver against team and company goals
- Drive cross-functional teams to flawless and timely executions
- Clearly communicate product plans, benefits and results, as appropriate, to a spectrum of audiences, from internal partners to all AppOnboard employees

What We’re Looking For

- Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills
- Experience with gaming is required
- Proven experience acquiring large number of users for websites and/or apps 
- Expertise with A/B testing for websites and ad campaigns 
- Experience building and optimizing site pages, keeping user needs and SEO methodologies in mind
- Proven ability to develop deep customer empathy and articulate customer problems
- Understand when to build and when to partner to best achieve the product or marketing strategy
- Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with a hardworking team of engineers and designers
- Demonstrated experience using data and analytical abilities to help solve problems and make decisions
