What You Do?
To build state-of-the-art systems for the ultimate developer experience, we are now looking for a passionate DevOps Engineer.
You will be responsible for making sure that our services are available at all times, maintaining and updating our infrastructure, developing in-house tools/scripts for developers, and our integration/deployment cycles.
If you have a solid background in software engineering and are familiar with AWS, Kubernetes, Helm, Go, Python, and CI/CD, we’d love to speak with you.
What You Will Do:
- Contribute to all stages in the product life cycle: design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance
- Have a big impact on what we build and how we build it
- Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure
- Analyze current technology utilized within the company and develop steps and processes to improve and expand upon them
- Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
- Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and ‘fixes’
- Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
- Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
- Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions
- Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers
- Monitoring and measuring customer experience and KPIs
- Help developers onboard and reduce their learning curve for new projects by contributing to the internal technical documentation
- Provide subject matter expertise to development and product teams in terms of AWS best practices and capabilities
- Participate, contribute and help develop relevant internal and external training resources
Who You Are:
- 2+ years experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role and ability to learn new concepts with high curiosity for expanding the limits of what's possible
- Experience in Web and Mobile Applications and Softwares in installation, management, support, monitoring, and capacity- performance management
- Experience in scripting languages like Perl/Python and Bash
- Experience in managing sources in Git and in Git workflows based on branching, and merging
- Experience with AWS or other Cloud Computing services is a must
- Experience with Kubernetes and Helm is a must
- Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)
- You've participated, contributed, and helped develop relevant internal and external training resources before
- Comfortable with training and working with developers and data scientists who specialize in various fields in their domain
- You enjoy working in collaboration with product managers, designers, and developers, and business side to understand the true requirements
- Graduated from Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or other related faculties, or have proven equivalent software engineering experience
