By joining our team as a Business developer, you will work with the CEO to understand the needs of our customers, the market and shape the solutions they need. We have ambitious growth plans in the life sciences sector, and you can be the driving force behind these changes.

What we expect

    • Experience with drug discovery, clinical trials
    • Knowledge about GxP (“good practices”) and validated environments
    • Knowledge of various open datasets that can be used
    • Proactive, driven personality, striving for continuous improvement in your own performance
    • Ability to create lead-generating content
    • Ability to collaborate with tech and marketing teams to deliver high-quality content (track record)
    • Ability to establish meaningful relationships with people. 
    • Good numerical understanding, experiment oriented, performance-oriented mindset
    • Excellent written and spoken English (C1)
    • Alignment with the Appsilon values, core purpose, and the Code of Conduct
    • Willingness to travel abroad. 


Nice to have

    • Knowledge of existing R or Shiny pharma solutions.
    • Knowledge of existing Python solutions in the pharmaceutical industry.
    • Experience with SAS or good understanding of SAS
    • Knowledge related to CRISPR-Cas9.

Your responsibilities

    • Grow our channels of content distribution
    • Extend our network in Life Sciences
    • Educate us about existing solutions
    • Network with and upselling to existing clients
    • Understand the market needs, developing and executing strategies to address them
    • Come up with quality Proof of Concepts (PoC’s)
    • Publish excellent content
    • Collaborate with the Tech team
    • Educate our team about existing problems and current solutions
    • Find/Share datasets for PoC’s
    • Educate life sciences vertical with what we already know
