As a Project Manager, you will ensure that we help our clients be more efficient and make better business decisions.

Working hours: Flexibility is provided, with daily meetings scheduled in the Pacific Time Zone
(PST UTC-8) due to collaboration with teams based in the USA (West Coast).


Must haves:

    • At least 6 months of experience in managing agile IT projects in modern technologies (Python/React/Django/Shiny) and working directly with a development team;
    • Practical knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies and project management tools - you will support the PO in managing the backlog day to day and providing the user stories to the dev team;
    • Experience working closely with product owners and product managers or familiarity with product management practices.
    • Oversee multiple projects (3-4 simultaneously), balancing priorities effectively.
    • Facilitate remote cross-team coordination and manage asynchronous communication across time zones.
    • Great social skills to facilitate productive meetings with tech and non-tech stakeholders;
    • Technical knowledge that allows, among others, navigating tech debt and helping the dev team successfully estimate;
    • Excellent written and spoken English (C1). Polish is NOT required;
    • Alignment with the Appsilon values, core purpose, and the Code of Conduct;
    • Willingness to travel abroad.

Nice to have:

    • Experience in delivering projects in a corporate environment.
    • Experience delivering products or working within cross-functional teams in a product-focused environment.
    • Basic understanding of R Shiny and experience working with financial data, reports, or dashboards.
    • Product Owner or Scrum Master certification.

You will:

    • Manage complex projects for corporate clients (Fortune 500) with 5-8 developers in a team;
    • Advise our clients on the project scope and project roadmap, define priorities, set the timeframes for sprints, and manage risks;
    • Boost team members' productivity by improving work methods, managing scope, asking the right questions, contacting the right persons together, etc.;
    • Ensure smooth communication between everyone involved in the project;
    • Liaise between the client and Tech Team throughout the project to ensure mutual satisfaction, client success, and smooth delivery.

Within 3 Months, You’ll…

    • Receive a lot of support from the Delivery Manager 
    • Support the client in structuring the collaboration with the team 
    • Understand the business context of the project you lead
    • Understand the benefits and limitations of the R Shiny technology

Within 6 Months, You’ll…

    • Become an advisor to the client and support them in the product management
    • Support the team members in prioritization and communication with the client

Within 12 Months, You’ll…

    • Suggest improvements to the processes in the project you are leading
