Why You’ll Love This Role
We’re looking for a strategic and analytical thinker to join our Product, Design, and Engineering (PD&E) Operations team in a high-impact, high-visibility role. This is not a traditional analyst role; this is for someone who thrives in ambiguity, excels at synthesizing complex information into actionable insights, and can drive cross-functional initiatives that improve decision-making and accelerWe’re looking for an analytical powerhouse and operational executor to join our Product, Design, and Engineering (PD&E) Operations team.
As a Senior Product Operations Analyst, you’ll work at the intersection of strategy and execution, equal parts structured thinker and doer.
You’ll lead critical internal programs like our PD&E Metrics Scorecard, Voice of the Customer, and Client Advisory Board, while also digging deep into usage, feedback, and GTM insights to shape product direction and processes. You’ll bring frameworks to ambiguous problems, align stakeholders around data-driven strategies, and then own the tactical work to turn those strategies into reality.
This is not a traditional analyst role. You won’t just be building decks or models, you’ll help drive the programs that bring those insights to life and ensure follow-through. If you love switching between whiteboarding the “why” and rolling up your sleeves to deliver the “how,” this role is for you.
ate product innovation.
You’ll be our go-to for tackling critical questions that require both rigorous analysis and business intuition. This means you're not just good with data, you’re great at using it to influence strategy, align stakeholders, and deliver real business outcomes.
What You'll Do
Strategic Analysis & Business Insight
- Partner with PD&E and cross-functional leaders to scope and answer critical business questions using structured problem-solving, modeling, and data synthesis.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities in product usage, roadmap delivery, GTM feedback, and operational metrics and convert those into frameworks and recommendations.
- Conduct root cause and correlation analyses across internal data to drive meaningful product decisions (e.g., usage retention patterns, churn signals, beta engagement, feature adoption gaps).
Strategy Execution & Program Ownership
- Translate high-level strategy into structured programs and repeatable processes that guide PD&E planning and prioritization.
- Own and operate high-impact product operations programs, including:
- PD&E Scorecard: Build and evolve weekly, monthly, and quarterly metrics reporting that measures roadmap health, delivery velocity, and product adoption.
- Voice of the Customer (VoC): Own intake and synthesis of client, sales, and success feedback via ProductBoard, CABs, research surveys, and GTM interactions.
- Client Advisory Board (CAB): Lead the end-to-end management of our CAB; from content prep and facilitation to synthesis and follow-up actions with internal teams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as a connective tissue between Product, Engineering, PMK, GTM teams, and leadership, ensuring feedback loops are complete and decisions are backed by real client and product data.
- Serve as a go-to partner for GTM teams when feedback patterns emerge, ensuring findings are translated into roadmap insights and product-level strategy.
- Support the rollout and execution of internal strategic processes like beta testing frameworks, roadmap reviews, product health rituals, and VOC sharing cadences.
Communication & Enablement
- Craft and deliver compelling strategic narratives (from decks to dashboards) that guide decision-making and foster alignment across stakeholders.
- Document and share insights, processes, and recommendations in tools like Confluence, ensuring clarity and repeatability across the team.
- Facilitate executive reviews and team briefings, ensuring strategic insights are implemented, not just presented.
Who You Are
- 3+ years of experience in management consulting, business analysis, or product strategy/operations at a fast-paced, high-performing company.
- Based in the Chicago area (or planning to be)! While we pride ourselves on offering ultra-flexible hybrid working schedules, we’d love for you to be within reach of our new Fulton Market office to collaborate in person when it makes sense.
- Equally comfortable with the 10,000-foot view and the 10-foot runway. You love strategy but don’t let it sit in a spreadsheet. You follow through and get things across the finish line.
- Comfortable operating independently and cross-functionally in ambiguous environments; you don’t wait for someone else to define the problem.
- Strategic and structured thinker who can turn open-ended questions into clear decisions and repeatable processes.
- Excellent communicator – able to take complex information and turn it into digestible, persuasive recommendations.
- Advanced Google Sheets or Excel modeling skills; familiarity with tools like SQL, Tableau, Looker, Amplitude, or similar is a plus.
- Exposure to Agile or SaaS product lifecycles, and experience working closely with product and engineering teams.
