The Role
We are seeking a Systems Administrator to help manage the critical IT infrastructure that empowers our employees every day. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with all kinds of technology and is not afraid to advocate for the latest tools and processes. What You’ll Do
- Provide expert-level support, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management for our macOS and Windows fleet, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
- Deploy, configure, and manage macOS endpoints using Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions, specifically Kandji and Addigy, to enforce security policies, distribute software, and automate configurations.
- Design, implement, and maintain the office network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, Wi-Fi access points, and VPNs, ensuring reliable and secure connectivity.
- Administer the company's Google Workspace environment, managing user accounts, groups, organizational units, security settings, application configurations, and data retention policies.
- Oversee the administration, integration, and security of various Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications used across the organization, managing licenses and access controls.
- Proactively monitor IT systems (endpoints, network, SaaS platforms) for performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and operational improvements, implementing solutions and maintaining documentation.
- Assist with the production and running of monthly All-Hands meetings held in person and over Zoom.
Who You Are
- You are customer-obsessed, prioritizing clear communication and effective solutions to support end-users and business needs.
- You have 5-6 years of hands-on experience in IT Systems Administration, managing diverse technical environments including endpoint management, networking, and cloud/SaaS platforms.
- You aren't afraid to challenge the status quo around current tooling or workflows.
- You enjoy trying to automate absolutely everything
What Helps You Stand Out
- Previous experience providing IT support and systems administration within a technology or software development company.
- Demonstrated experience managing infrastructure, services, and costs within AWS cloud environments (AWS certifications are a plus).
- Experience administering resources, users, and services within Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Familiarity with or experience leveraging AI tools to enhance IT operations, automation, monitoring, or end-user support.
- Live event production experience is also highly valued.
