As the Delivery and Implementation Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution and delivery of all projects across US and Global Enterprises. You will lead a team of implementation managers and specialists to ensure seamless implementation of AppZens AI solutions for Expense Audit and Accounts Payable automation.

Projects range from single phase, single country scope to global rollouts with multiple ERP and P2P integrations, dozens of languages, and multiple shared service centers.

Strong candidates will articulate their experience in leading projects with customers whose executive teams are based in the US and Europe, and whose shared services centers are in Europe, Asia, and India. They will also demonstrate how they have built and run a delivery organization with a small footprint in the US and EMEA, with a majority of the team and work being performed in India or other offshore region. Successful candidates will have a strong track record of delivering projects with rigorous financial oversight and scope/timeline management.

A highly desired skill set is proficiency in finance operations, specifically around disbursements. Candidates must show an ability to work closely with product teams to communicate feature requirements and plan projects around product release cycles.

Responsibilities:

    • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a global implementation strategy aligned with the company's objectives and market demands.
    • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of implementation managers and specialists, providing guidance, support, and resources to ensure project success. This would include working with India-based resources and other teams to ensure smooth implementations
    • Project Management: Oversee the end-to-end execution of implementation projects, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, and monitoring progress against milestones. Build better project and program management practices that thrive on agility and quick value realization for the customers.
    • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams, including product development, sales, marketing, and customer support, to ensure alignment and integration of implementation efforts with overall business objectives.
    • Client Engagement: Act as a primary point of contact for key clients during the implementation phase, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed effectively.
    • Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain quality standards for implementation processes and deliverables, conducting regular reviews and audits to ensure adherence to best practices.
    • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and optimize the implementation experience for clients and internal stakeholders.
    • Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders on the status of implementation projects, highlighting achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement.
    • Budget Management: Develop and manage the implementation budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and expenses are kept within budgetary constraints.
    • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and obstacles to successful implementation and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
    • Compliance and Regulations: Ensure that all implementation activities comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
    • Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors and partners as needed to support implementation efforts, ensuring that deliverables meet quality standards and timelines.
    • Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and capabilities in project management and implementation best practices.

Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
    • 10-12 plus years of experience in delivering transformation services in AP, P2P, S2P, or the finance operations domain
    • Proven experience in leading global implementation projects, preferably in a technology or SaaS environment that has a global footprint. Own profitability goals, time to value and NPS.
    • Work in an Onshore-Offshore environment to drive delivery across the globe.
    • Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
    • Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve their full potential.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
    • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business goals into actionable plans and initiatives.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving continuous improvement and delivering results.
    • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to adapt quickly to change.
    • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
    • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and project implementation activities.

$130,000 - $185,000 a year
AppZen is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.

The base pay range for this role is listed above. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.

The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
