We are seeking highly talented engineers with experience in mobile robotics developing advanced techniques for mapping, localization, and pose estimation using a variety of sensors (but not GPS). The successful job applicant will work with our experts as we roll out the next generation of our highly advanced mapping and localization tools.

Job Responsibilities:

    • Design and implement mapping, localization, and pose estimation algorithms based on vision, LIDAR, IMU, and/or RADAR
    • Assist with high-level analysis, design, and code reviews

Education and Experience:

    • PhD / MSc in Engineering or related field
    • Strong track record of robust implementations

Core Skills:

    • Expert in probabilistic robotics / filtering theory
    • Strong background in data structures and algorithms
    • Excellent C++ development skills on Linux platforms
    • Ability to implement new algorithms efficiently and rigorously
    • Experience with software engineering tools (e.g., Git, CMake, CI, gdb, etc.)
    • Experience developing software as part of a team
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Strong quantitative ability
    • Desire to work in a fast-paced startup environment


    • Experience with real-time and embedded systems
    • Experience using static analysis and model checking tools
    • Familiarity with: Python, ROS, OpenGL, OpenCV, PCL
