Arbital Health is a rapidly growing healthcare technology and actuarial leader that centralizes, measures, and adjudicates value-based care contracts at scale. We believe that the biggest problem facing value-based care is the inability for parties to accurately measure and forecast contract performance. We are building a generational company that is positioned to solve this. Through our unique depth of technology and actuarial insight, Arbital Health enables payers and providers to design, measure, and execute value-based agreements with greater transparency, efficiency, and financial predictability.
We were co-founded by Brian Overstreet and Travis May (founder & former CEO of LiveRamp and Datavant, the two biggest data companies of the last 20 years), and are backed by Transformation Capital and other leading investors. In our first 18 months, Arbital Health has established itself as a trusted partner for over 40 payers, providers, and other stakeholders looking to navigate the complexities of risk-based contracting.
We hire individuals who are smart, nice, and get things done. We invest in hiring high potential and humble individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and can rapidly grow their responsibilities as we continue to accelerate our growth.
The Role:
Arbital Health is seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to lead its sales, business development, and marketing functions. This leader will be responsible for accelerating the company’s transition from a service-heavy business model to a technology-driven organization, driving platform adoption and expanding market reach.
This is a pivotal role at a crucial stage of the company’s evolution. The CCO will define and execute a go-to-market strategy, build a high-performing commercial team, and refine the company’s messaging to maximize engagement with key stakeholders. - Sales & Business Development: Expand the sales function from a primarily organic approach (word-of-mouth, referrals, and upselling) to a structured, proactive, outbound-driven model.
- Team Leadership & Growth: Recruit, mentor, and manage a strong sales and marketing team, ensuring alignment with growth objectives.
- Marketing & Brand Positioning: Oversee marketing efforts, currently housed under the product leader, and establish a dedicated, strategic marketing function.
- Customer Expansion & Retention: Drive customer acquisition and retention efforts, with a focus on payers and provider organizations looking to optimize VBC contracts.
Qualifications:
- Industry Experience: Deep expertise in healthcare technology, particularly in value-based care, payer-provider solutions, or healthcare analytics.
- Sales Leadership: Proven experience scaling commercial functions in a high-growth SaaS or healthcare services company.
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Track record of developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies that drive revenue growth.
- Startup & Growth-Stage Navigation: Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment, particularly in transitioning a company from a service-heavy to a tech-focused model.
- Leadership & Team Building: Strong ability to attract, develop, and retain top-tier sales and marketing talent.
- Strategic Partnerships: Experience developing and managing partnerships with payers, providers, and healthcare organizations to drive business growth.
- Market Expansion: Proven ability to expand into new markets, segments, or customer bases within the healthcare ecosystem.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Strong analytical skills to assess market trends, sales performance, and customer feedback to continuously refine the commercial strategy.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work closely with product, actuarial, and technology teams to align commercial strategy with product development and customer needs.
- Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred
