In this role, you will support the Actuarial Delivery team to help build new products and develop IP to serve a multi-billion-dollar market and deliver quality, equitable, and high-impact care to more Americans as a result. You will also directly support client needs and collaborate with our internal team of Value-Based Care actuaries to ensure we provide the highest quality services. You will have the opportunity to lead projects from start to finish, collaborate with clients on complex results, mentor junior team members, and develop methodologies that can be applied across Arbital. Our ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong technical background and a passion for working with clients.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Review code, methodology, and analysis from analysts and teammates
- Manage data requirements, evaluate appropriateness of data, problem solve any issues with internal data and customers’ data
- Project manage customer engagements
- Collaborate with external stakeholders
- Make recommendations based on analysis and communicate results and solutions to meet client needs
- Increasingly own customer relationships and serve as a primary point of contact
- Increase efficiency through process standardization
- Model financial outcomes, evaluate drivers of healthcare trends, and identify risks
- Collaborate with our software team to design, develop and deploy our third party adjudication software
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) required; Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) preferred
- Minimum 4 years of experience working with medical claims data
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Excellent collaborator and teammate
- Diligent time management and prioritization
- Strong technical skills (including PowerPoint, Excel, R, Python, and SQL)
- Interest in solving some of healthcare’s toughest problems
$150,000 - $190,000 a year
