The Head of Strategy role at Arbitrum Foundation is a pivotal position responsible for driving business development efforts and fostering growth across various Web3 serviceable markets. The role will entail crafting and executing strategies to generate inbound and outbound sales across multiple verticals, including gaming, fintech, NFTs, DAOs, etc. Additionally, the incumbent will be instrumental in developing go-to-market strategies aimed at fostering business adoption.

Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to drive growth and expansion across Web3 serviceable markets.
    • Lead the formulation and execution of strategies for generating inbound and outbound sales across diverse verticals, including gaming, fintech, NFTs, DAOs, etc.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to identify key market opportunities, prioritize targets, and develop tailored strategies to maximize business outcomes.
    • Conduct market research and analysis to stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities.
    • Define and execute go-to-market strategies to facilitate business adoption and market penetration.
    • Build and nurture strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including potential clients, industry influencers, and ecosystem partners.
    • Provide strategic guidance to the executive team based on market insights, performance metrics, and industry best practices.
    • Drive cross-functional collaboration to align business strategies with product development, marketing, and other organizational functions.
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of strategies and initiatives, adjusting plans as needed to optimize outcomes and achieve business objectives.
    • Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Desired Background

    • Proven track record in a strategic leadership role, preferably within the blockchain
    • Demonstrated experience in business development, sales strategy, and market expansion, with a strong understanding of Web3 serviceable markets.
    • Deep knowledge of blockchain technology, decentralized finance (DeFi), non-fungible tokens (NFTs), decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs), and related concepts.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and derive actionable insights.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
    • Proven ability to think strategically, innovate, and drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for driving growth and creating impact within the Web3 ecosystem.
