Your Role

The Arbitrum Foundation is seeking a passionate Event Coordinator to support our growing global events programs and initiatives. As a champion of community engagement, you'll be responsible for crafting dynamic events where developers, users, and enthusiasts can connect, collaborate, and propel the future of Ethereum scaling solutions.

Your Responsibilities

    • Plan, organize, and execute events such as hackathons, conferences, meetups, and online events for the community.
    • Develop comprehensive event plans, including timelines, budgets, and logistics.
    • Project manage all end-to-end logistics, including venue selection, vendor procurement and communication, catering, and any relevant talent or speakers. 
    • Coordinate all pre-event promotion of campaigns through our various marketing channels. Working closely with internal teams to create and execute the plans.
    • Oversee event setup and breakdown, ensuring all details are executed flawlessly.
    • Develop and manage event budgets, tracking expenses and monitoring cost efficiencies while delivering elevated brand experiences. 
    • Communicate promptly about any pertinent changes in the budget to keep it on track. 
    • Manage event logistics, including transportation, accommodations, and equipment rentals.
    • Coordinate with internal teams, such as marketing, business development, product marketing and operations, to ensure seamless event execution.
    • Oversee event staffing to ensure all staff are prepped and present at all hosted and sponsored activations.
    • Oversee event execution on-site, ensuring all aspects of the event run smoothly.
    • Ability to think quickly and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the event.
    • Develop post-event reports including event ROI and metrics, attendee and team feedback to identify areas for improvement and actionable insights.
    • Coordinate post-event communication through various marketing channels to highlight the event's success.

What You'll Need

    • Experience working in event management, preferably in Web3 or tech.
    • 3+ years of experience in event planning and coordination. Preferably experience in planning and coordinating international events. 
    • Must have the ability to travel internationally and frequently. The successful candidate will travel up to 35% of the time.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
    • Attention to detail and a creative eye.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Flexibility to work non-standard hours, including evenings and weekends.
