Why This Role Is Important To Arcadia

The US healthcare system is in a moment of profound digital transformation. Our collective success in this moment requires the collaboration of millions of administrators, clinicians, social workers and patients. That collaboration is predicated on the delivery of fast and reliable insights from the petabytes of data the healthcare system exhausts every day. At Arcadia, we are building the data platform to do just that.
Connected to some of the most prestigious national brands in healthcare, Arcadia processes billions of clinical and financial observations for over 100 million patients every day. Our high-scale distributed computing platform combines, cleans, and enriches these data with thousands of algorithms and analytics models. Our intelligence and workflow stack provides high-availability access to thousands of daily users, facilitating collaboration and more intelligent care.
This is an incredible time to join the Arcadia R&D team. Validated from 5 years of high growth, we believe this platform will be foundational for the next decade of healthcare innovation. We're looking for someone eager to help launch our product suite into a new era in a highly impactful area of our business while blazing their career to the next level.
As a Staff Engineer, you’ll be joining a newly created small-but-elite product group within Arcadia. This team of senior engineers will partner directly with our Architects, VP of Product and CTO on 9-12 months of rapid greenfield innovation. We’re looking for someone who can dive in and quickly design and build prototypes of novel products, heavily powered by massive datasets and generative AI. After the initial burst of swift technological advancement, you’ll focus on providing the technical leadership and expertise for larger engineering teams in rolling out and scaling these innovations to a wide customer base.
