As the Project Manager, Retail Training you will support in the enablement of our retail stores, through cross-functional project management. You are responsible for driving key retail projects forward; including defining the timelines, developing and managing the project plan, working with the team to see progress and unblock challenges along the way.

This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

The Retail Training team is in service of the business, supporting our scalable store growth and achievement of our goals. Retail Training creates best-in-class learning programs, supports implementation training, and delivers training that enables our business to operate effectively and scale for the future.  Retail Training team is key to our organization’s growth and business maturity goals through supporting with training, our people to unleash their potential and build a high-performance culture.

If you were the Project Manager, Retail Training here are some of the core activities you would be doing:

    • Working closely with the Retail Training Programs Manager to Support in setting up the foundation of the project; project governance, defining ways of working, identifying key stakeholders, defining key meeting cadence, identifying key deliverables and timelines
    • Creating an end-to-end project plan and enrolling key partners to deliver necessary elements to ensure project success
    • Developing comprehensive stakeholder engagement plans and ensuring the right people are in the right conversations
    • Developing content and prepping for key project meetings; status meetings, weekly working sessions, SteerCo’s, etc.
    • Driving project management reporting across 2024 retail training projects
    • Working cross-functionally to identify risks, create proactive solutions and report to senior leaders
    • Driving project work for the projects that you are overseeing

Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:

    • Supporting with the Retail Training Talent Accelerator Training Program
    • Supporting with the evolution of our Retail Training Operating Model
    • Supporting the project management of core programming projects
    • Developing data and & reporting insights to enhance in-store and HQ reporting capabilities 

Are you our next Project Manager, Retail Training?

    • You have a Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary education in business, or related field
    • You have 3+ years work experience within a retail support function
    • You have 3+ years of project management experience and have experience using project management software such as Smartsheets
    • You are able to articulate critical communication to leadership teams, functional departments, retail leaders, and peers  
    • You have demonstrated high level decision making and can hold people accountable to timelines 
    • You have strong communication skills and can facilitate cross-functional conversations
    • You have a background in change management and training
    • You have experience developing training content and writing succinct communications
    • You have working knowledge of retail systems and in-store processes
    • You are able to step in and take charge with minimum instruction
    • You are able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines
    • You have a background in change management and training for large-scale projects to cross functional teams  
    • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and exceptional attention to detail
    • You seek the best (but sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right
$80,000 - $100,000 a year
A reasonable estimate of the pay range is CAD$80,000 - CAD$100,000 at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training. 

Please note that the range details above reflect the base pay only and does not include our competitive bonus program and benefits that we offer.
