Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX: 
As the Project Coordinator, Retail Technology you will be a key part of the Retail Technology team and will be participating in project plan tracking and reporting activities related to the projects through design, build and implementation phases. This role will support project coordination and administration tasks related to the various internal, external and vendor project teams. Working closely with various technology managers to ensure each team’s work is executed to plan and any deviations are captured, updated and, if necessary, escalated accordingly.

This role is based out of our North Vancouver office but can also be hired remote. Business Operations occur on Pacific Time zones. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

The Retail Technology team is responsible for driving the future vision of technology in our retail stores. The team is currently undertaking a large-scale transformation to . In this role you will work with teams internal and external to Arc’teryx as we all come together to deliver a quality product that excites our product guides and guests in store.  

If you were the Project Coordinator, Retail Technology now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:

    • Collaborating with other project or technology managers to create a comprehensive delivery plan 
    • Collaborating with the cross functional teams to schedule cutover, delivery, test & turn on activities  
    • Preparing project artifacts such as schedule and related documents   
    • Referencing output from PI planning to create a consolidated project plan with all dependencies captured 
    • Updating and monitoring project plans to ensure tasks are being executed, as planned, between teams. Being a point of escalation when necessary  
    • Managing Jira tickets and providing stats on sprint activity  
    • Setting up virtual and physical meetings for teams to collaborate 
    • Contributing to the communication of project status updates and go-live readiness  
    • Communicating actions and next steps to project teams  
    • Working with teams to refine and setup our hypercare support plan  
    • Facilitating hypercare support calls, managing support tasks and actions with teams 
    • Other projects and tasks as assigned

    • Delivering Infrastructure & Operations projects to enhance our guest experience in our brand stores
    • Planning and maintaining a roadmap and solution delivery plan that aligns with our corporate strategic initiatives for the Retail Technology area
    • Collaborating with the team on improving our operational processes
    • Support our new store opening execution to ensure we meet our targets

Are you our next Project Coordinator, Retail Technology?

    • You have a relevant university degree or technical diploma and a minimum of 3+ year’s related experience. An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered. 
    • You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in project management 
    • You have expertise in Powerpoint, Smartsheet, JIRA and Confluence 
    • You are an excellent collaborator while also being able to work effectively with a team 
    • You are adaptable and demonstrate forward thinking on new challenges 
    • You are able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks within tight timescales 
    • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills 
    • You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions 
    • You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity 
    • You are able to balance autonomy and collaboration 
    • You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement with agile mindset 
    • You are naturally curious about Information Technology, systems and the unreasonable use of acronyms and terminology 
    • Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it  
$67,000 - $74,000 a year
A reasonable estimate of the pay range is $67,000 - $74,000 CAD at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training. 

Please note that the range details above reflect the base pay only and does not include our competitive bonus program and benefits that we offer.
