Your Opportunity at Arc’teryx:
As the Program Manager, Core Retail Operations, you will play an essential role in supporting our retail stores. Holding deep subject matter expertise in the day-to-day, seasonal, and technical operations of DTC retail, you will act as a first point of contact for identifying and resolving business incidents that impact our Stores. Leveraging your expertise and listening to feedback from our stores, you will be engaged in continuous improvement process with a goal of creating the optimal conditions for success for our Stores. The ideal candidate would have a strong background in retail systems and operations, with a passion for problem solving, and a bias towards action.  

This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to a hybrid work schedule. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

If you were the Program Manager, Core Retail Operations, here are some of the activities you would be doing:

    • Building never out and always in programs, to ensure the optimized flow of supplies and in-direct procurement items to our stores
    • Actioning feedback shared by our Retail Teams and ensuring timely resolution action from HQ partners
    • Building and maintaining store databases and process maps to mitigate risk of store disruptions
    • Monitoring and responding to support inquires placed via the retail ops inbox
    • Managing the resolution of store incidents and support requests from initiation to conclusion
    • Working collaboratively across HQ teams to ensure process resiliency and systematic accuracy of pricing uploads
    • Vendor Management and ensuring adherence to SLAs and accuracy of timelines
    • Process mapping, documentation, and governance of our internal SOPs

Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:

    • Supporting with the design of retail ticketing systems to formalize the intake, assessment, and resolution of retail support requests
    • Supporting with the implementation of indirect procurement platforms

Are you our next Program Manager for Core Retail Operations?

    • You have a degree or post-secondary education in business or operations.
    • You have 5+ years’ experience in retail operations and or project management.
    • You have excellent interpersonal skills, and a demonstrated ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
    • You have excellent communication skills.
    • You are able to analyze data and generate meaningful reports.
    • You can multi-task, meet deadlines, and manage priorities working in a fast-paced environment.
    • You have excellent project management skills.
    • You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity.
    • You are able to balance autonomy and collaboration.
    • You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement.
    • You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues, seeking the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions with an unwavering commitment to do what is right.

$80,000 - $100,000 a year
A reasonable estimate of thepay range is $80,000 - $100,000 CAD at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training. 

Please note that the range details above reflect the base pay only and does not include our competitive bonus program and benefits that we offer.
