As the Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate FP&A - Technology, you will play a key role in enabling informed technology investment decisions and leading the management of budget, forecasting and performance tracking for the Technology function. As a trusted business partner to Technology leadership, you will provide financial clarity, deliver actionable insights and drive continuous improvement in how we plan, track and report on Technology spend.

The Technology FP&A team at Arc’teryx partners closely with Technology leadership and the broader finance team to provide leadership, financial governance and decision support. The team manages the monthly and quarterly Technology reporting, tracks operating and capital spend, develops tools and processes that improve accuracy, transparency and efficiency.
If you were the Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate FP&A - Technology, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
- Leading the annual budgeting process and partner with Technology leaders on forecasts, validating assumptions and aligning projections with corporate timelines, strategic objectives and evolving business needs
- Managing the Technology Month-end Close Process, including accruals, variance analysis and insights
- Preparing and deliver monthly and quarterly business reporting packages, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of financial insights to leadership
- Providing monthly financial commentary to Technology leadership, highlighting drivers, risks and opportunities
- Supporting Business Case development for the technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic and financial objectives
- Maintaining and enhancing Capex and Opex dashboards to improve visibility, accuracy and decision-making.
- Maintaining the company-wide capital asset schedule and depreciation model ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Improving transparency of Technology spend through data consistency, system enhancements and reporting tools
- Identifying and implementing automation opportunities to streamline recurring reporting processes
- Supporting the development and maintenance of long-term strategic planning model, working cross functionally with teams on key assumptions and drivers
Are you our next Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate FP&A - Technology?
- You have 5+ years proven experience in Finance and/or Financial Planning & Analysis role
- You have a bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting or equivalent and ideally have your CPA, CMA, CA, CFA, or MBA
- You have exceptional attention to detail
- You have advanced analytical skills with a strong aptitude for MS Excel and data analysis tools
- You are highly proficient in accounting systems and business intelligence (BI) tools
- You can prioritize and manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and can collaborate with individuals across departments, organizations, and countries
- You can coordinate and lead projects to completion
- You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
- You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
- You can balance autonomy and collaboration
- You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement

$94,000 - $117,000 a year
A reasonable estimate of the pay range is CAD$94,000 - CAD$117,000 at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training. The upper end of the range is typically reserved for candidates with demonstrated expertise that is above job requirements or who bring exceptional directly transferable experience.
