Work Arrangement: In person, with some flexibility to work from home occasionally
Pay Range: $44,700- 55,100, will be dependent on year of study and related experience.
Duration: Four (4) months, Sep 02, 2025 – Dec 19 2025, with possibility of a longer placement
Hours Per Week: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

As a Co-Op Student with our Manufacturing and Quality department, you will be exposed to the garment manufacturing industry, and have the opportunity to learn from the great minds who help us to plan, design and improve manufacturing processes, materials, and workspace layout to ensure timely, efficient, accurate, and cost-effective production with superb quality.
Meet Your Future Team:
You will partner closely with our Quality, Engineering, and Production teams to establish and measure KPIs, collaborate on Lean initiatives, and develop continuous improvement projects.
If you were an Quality Engineering Co-Op Student now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
- Support procurement and commissioning of new machinery and tools that will be used in to support production quality
- Develop, evaluate and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and inspection guidelines
- Create process flow diagrams (PFDs) of manufacturing processes using Miro/Powerpoint
- Problem solve and implement unique solutions for various quality problems
- Collect and perform data analysis on Excel/Smartsheet/Power BI to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Use Lean Manufacturing tools to reduce waste and participate in 5S activities
Here are some of the things you will learn by the end of your Co-Op placement:
- Lean manufacturing processes and principles
- Project management skills and becoming a subject matter expert (SME) in a specific problem or project
- How to work collaboratively with various stakeholders in the garment manufacturing industry
- Operating with various technologies and tools (i.e. 3D Printing, Process Flow development, testing equipment software, laser engraving, etc.) as needed

- You are currently enrolled in an BASc Engineering program
- You have the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams, both internally and externally
- You have strong communication skills and the ability to influence cross-functionality
- You have strong organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple tasks within tight deadlines
- You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
- You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
- You seek the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right
- Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it
Assets:
- Strong computer skills in Word, PowerPoint, & Excel/VBA is needed and CAD is an asset
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and is a self-starter
$44,700 - $55,100 a year
Individual pay is determined by factors such as program of study, year of study, job-related skills, and relevant experience.
