Arc’teryx is growing its global retail footprint and with that comes opportunity to be part of defining and creating how the brand shows up around the world.  As the Lead, Retail Brand Marketing you are passionate about retail and curious to find new ways to improve brand experience and storytelling. The ideal candidate is collaborative and able to support projects with cross functional teams of peers, external partners and vendors. With proven experience in vertical retail marketing, the Retail Brand Marketing Lead is able to support store performance and act in the moment as well as develop longer term solutions to drive the business. 

This role is primarily based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada

The Retail Brand Marketing team oversees the development and delivery of strategic marketing plans for Arc’teryx stores. We are a growing function of the business and we rely on strong cross functional partnerships across the business to help bring our strategies to life.

If you were the Retail Brand Marketing Lead now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:

    • Developing and executing comprehensive in store marketing strategies aligned with brand objectives and sales targets increase sales
    • Creating compelling visual displays, signage, and promotional materials to enhance in store environment and drive customer engagement
    • Collaborating with key cross functional teams including merchandising and operations to ensure consistency across all marketing efforts
    • Providing mentorship to team members on the retail brand marketing team, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment
    • Managing updates and communicating the retail marketing calendar to corporate and local and regional collaborators 
    • Leading the creation of visually appealing in store display, signage, and promotional materials that capture the brand aesthetic, and effectively communicate key messages
    • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with store design, visual merchandising, and retail operations partners, as well as external creative agencies vendors
    • Ensuring timely briefings and tracking of retail marketing projects, prioritizing work, facilitating resolution of roadblocks, and providing solutions and best practices

Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:

    • Strategizing and planning global brand campaigns in retail for Fall 24 and Spring 25  
    • Creating global window strategies to support the marketing calendar in regions
    • Writing briefs for future strategies to bring our marketing efforts to the next level in our brand stores
    • Working cross functionally with visual merchandising to align on the brand experience presentation for seasonal storytelling and global campaigns
    • Supporting in brand retail initiatives from New Store openings

Are you our next Retail Brand Marketing Lead?

    • You have a bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field
    • You have 5+ years experience in retail channel marketing, visual merchandising, in store marketing, or a related fields
    • You have excellent computer skills with Office Suite: Excel and PowerPoint and Smartsheet
    • You have knowledge of Adobe creative suite
    • You have strong written and verbal communication skills
    • You have exceptional prioritization, organization, and project management skills
    • You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration
    • Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it
    • You have the ability and are willing to travel as necessary
$91,000 - $114,000 a year
A reasonable estimate of the pay range is $91,000 - $114,000 CAD at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training.
