Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:
As the Manager, Sourcing Business Process you will play an essential role on behalf of the business in the planning, tracking, and reporting of activities related to projects through design, build, and implementation phases.  Additionally, you will be the first point of contact for Arc’teryx Supply Chain Sourcing where you will manage the identification and implementation of technology and business solutions as required. You will be a key enabler to the sourcing supply chain functions and will be responsible to provide department specific needs, coordinate departmental work for the project, provide input on whether proposed solutions meet needs, and then coordinate implementation of the new solution(s). 
This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

The Manager, Sourcing Business Process will work with a cross-functional group whose focus is to deliver best-in-class solutions to support Arc’teryx Strategic Business Goals.

If you were in the Manager, Sourcing Business Process role now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:

    • Leading the identification of gaps between business requirements and proposed solutions, and leading the evaluation of strategies to address those gaps
    • Defining the business requirements for your designated business area and associated, supporting tools, while also assisting other departments in defining their own requirements
    • Building, coaching, and guiding a high performing team of Project Specialists who partner with sourcing business through design, build, and implementation phases of all sourcing systems and process projects
    • Driving overall business readiness for projects and initiatives
    • Creating business cases for new functionality or maintenance of current practice as required
    • Documenting the current and future state of business processes affected by identified projects and initiatives
    • Identifying operational changes between current and future state, including new required processes
    • Acting as primary contact for cross-departmental discussions to drive a common business design and data consistency
    • Ensuring best practices and process optimization are built at the design stage
    • Engaging stakeholders by conveying the end-state consistently, while notifying leadership of any challenges to the plan
    • Collaborating closely with internal and external teams to ensure that the projects and initiatives stay on track, communicating status and potential roadblocks to leadership
    • Identifying the required information to support existing systems/applications with other future tools
    • Analyzing various factors to determine the optimal go live strategy for different projects
    • Focusing on planning, sourcing, facilitating data migration, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and validating test transactions for the planning tool and SAP S4 hanna change requests
    • Collaborating closely with BI teams to identify requirements and ensure data consistency
    • Fostering a focus on sourcing, acting as the main point of contact between technology and business stakeholders
    • Driving the optimization of technical and business processes
    • Upholding Fair Labor Association’s Workplace Code of Conduct and Principles of Fair Labor and Responsible Sourcing throughout the Arc’teryx supply chain
    • By working closely with the Amer Sports Global Sourcing Vendor Sustainability team on quarterly business reviews and training/capacity building (at least annually)
    • By adhering to negotiated lead times and balanced annual capacities to expedite responsible purchasing practices as outlined in the Responsible Sourcing Policy

Are you our next Manager, Sourcing Business Process?

    • You have a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent certification), preferably in Project Management, and/or equivalent 3 years experience in managing projects
    • You have 5+ years work experience within Supply Chain, ideally including 3+ years of people leadership experience
    • You have 5+ years report building experience
    • You have expertise in project management tools and systems
    • You have a drive to learn and participate
    • You are an excellent collaborator while also able to work effectively with a team
    • You are adaptable and forward thinking
    • You have solid knowledge of SAP and/or equivalent ERP/ Planning systems and order management processes
    • You are able to step in and take charge with minimum instruction
    • You are able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines
    • You have advanced analytical skills with a strong aptitude for spreadsheets
    • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and exceptional attention to detail
    • You are able to travel internationally as required
    • You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
    • You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
    • You are able to balance autonomy and collaboration
    • You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement

$104,000 - $130,000 a year
A reasonable estimate of the pay range is CAD $104,000 - CAD $130,000 at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training.

Please note that the range details above reflect the base pay only and does not include our competitive bonus program and benefits that we offer.
