Role Overview
The main responsibility of this position is to effectively deliver a premium consumer shopping experience while leading profitable and sustainable growth through effective collaboration with retail partners, local & global stakeholders. Responsible for the full operations and success of all retail shops in Japan.

Key Responsibilities

    • Create Strategic Framework and Roadmap of Retail (Mission, Vision, Capabilities, Infrastructure, strategic plans)
    • Development Functional Centers of Retail Excellences
    • Retail Format Development (channel, brand, distribution tiers, size, etc.)
    • Retail Store Development (store life cycle management)
    • Retail Visual Merchandising Principles, Planning and Execution
    • In store operation standards and performance management system
    • Retail Training (development, planning and Execution)
    • Retail Performance and Investment Effectiveness Review
    • Shopper Insights and Insights based value creation (innovations)
    • Analyze results of sell-out data, consumption behavior, motivation and selling trend, as best seller items, slow moving items, and price range

Qualifications

    • 7-10+ years of retail and project management experience
    • Hands on store operation and P&L experience
    • Able to lead vision, strategy and plans to execute in a systematic and progressive approach
    • Merchandising and buyer experience
    • Proven people manager
    • Understanding multi-channel challenges
    • Language: Japanese (fluent), English (business level)
