Professional Sales Representative, Europe

As Professional Sales Representative you will manage relationships with our outdoor professional customers to ensure profitable growth and positive exposure of the Arc’teryx brand and products to outdoor professional end users in Europe. Your strong knowledge of the outdoor professional market combined with your established network of relationships enables you to identify new opportunities and develop new pro business in Europe. 

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

    • You are the subject matter expert on our unique Professional product collection and pro sales in Europe, and are accountable for growing the European pro business for Arc’teryx
    • You promote and sell the benefits of Arc’teryx products and the professional sales program to existing and prospective customers (direct and B2B); creating solutions-based presentations based on customer needs and presenting in-person or virtually
    • You develop short and long term sales plans for customers based on the Pro commercial strategy and program guidelines to grow prospective and existing relationships into long term business
    • You process orders with accuracy and timeliness, informing customers of customization options, pricing, credit and contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates or issues
    • You seek to understand the order & fulfillment processes and collaborate with B2X sales support, dealer service and the value added service (VAS) teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of group orders
    • You represent and promote Arc’teryx at industry trade shows, events and customer meetings in a professional manner to achieve sales targets
    • You maintain detailed account information and plans for your key accounts, utilizing this information to prioritize travel activities and marketing investments
    • You provide sales and market insight to the Senior Manager,Pro & Corporate Sales and are responsible to ensure that information is shared in a timely, effective and efficient manner
    • You are responsible for providing sales and model forecast feedback on a seasonal basis to ensure profitability by maximizing sales and minimizing inventory risk
    • You collaborate with Arc’teryx and Amer Sports external sales teams and commercial managers (Outdoor B2B/DTC, LEAF B2B) in growing Arc’teryx professional sales revenue and creating wins for the brand in Europe

Additional experience, education and/or skills:

    • You have a Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field, and at least 2 – 3 years of sales experience, preferably within the outdoor professional industry; or an equivalent amount of sales experience
    • You are an expert at establishing rapport and building credibility, in part by demonstrating an appreciation for solutions to the customer or prospect‘s business needs
    • Fluent in both written and spoken English, with fluency in an additional language such as German or French
    • You have effective and efficient time management skills, strong analytical skills, excellent communication and presentation skills
    • You are able to travel regionally and internationally (trade shows, key commercial account visits, business development activities, etc.)
    • You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
    • You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
    • You are able to balance autonomy and collaboration
    • You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
    • You seek the best (but sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right
    • Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it


    • Current/past involvement in the outdoor professional industry, as a guide, ski patroller or rescue team member
    • Fluency in two or more languages, with preference given to French and/or German
    • In-depth knowledge of Arc’teryx products, materials and manufacturing
