Your opportunity at Arc’teryx:

As the Manager, Raw Materials Supply Planning, you are responsible for leading and evolving the Raw Material  Planning team to ensure seasonal supply of raw materials from T2 supply chains.
 
You will help drive relationships with our raw materials suppliers, ensuring that they perform beyond our expectations in key indicators such as cost, capability, and delivery.

This is a temporary, one year contract role and is primarily based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work.  Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.  
 
 
Meet your future team:

The Raw Materials Supply Planning team is part of the Raw Materials (RM) Sourcing organization and the broader Raw Materials team.

You will work with RM Sourcing, RM Development, Colour Operations, Merchandising, Quality, Design, Product Development, and Product Operations to ensure that our supply chain can deliver on capacity and cost while anticipating the future needs of the business

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

    • Leading and managing seasonal raw materials booking and forecasting operations. 
    • Building and rewarding a team culture that fosters urgency, efficiency, and curiosity. 
    • Managing key RM supplier accounts in line with our long termT2sourcing strategy. 
    • Actively identifying opportunities to improve and enhance RM Planning team operations and processes. 
    • Developing the use of data and KPIs to drive cohesive visibility and understanding of T2 supply planning management and performance. 
    • Evolving and optimizing RM Sourcing org dates, processes, and deliverables to meet the needs of seasonal Go-to-Market (GTM) workstreams. 
    • Elevating the RM Planner supplier portfolio management strategy and performance. 
    • Proactively identifying, analyzing, and mitigating supply risks in collaboration with RM Sourcing. 
    • Developing documentation of record for RM Sourcing organization operations and processes. 
    • Supporting continuous improvement of processes for workstreams and initiatives involving RM, including special projects 
    • Driving continuous collaboration and process improvement between our finished goods Supply Planning team and T1 workstream. 
    • Supporting long term forecast commitments and measuring purchase activity and variance. 
    • Developing a cost negotiation strategy in partnership with RM Sourcing. 
    • EnforcingT2 supply agreements and managing supplier process cohesion. 
    • Supporting T2 supplier onboarding process and system of record. 
    • Participating in RM leadership strategy and operations conversations. 
    • Upholding Fair Labor Association’s Workplace Code of Conduct and Principles of Fair Labor and Responsible Sourcing throughout the Arc’teryx supply chain. 
    • By working closely with the Amer Sports Global Sourcing Vendor Sustainability team on quarterly business reviews and training/capacity building (at least annually). 
    • By adhering to negotiated lead times and balanced annual capacities to expedite responsible purchasing practices as outlined in the Responsible Sourcing Policy.

$106,000 - $146,000 a year
A reasonable estimate of the pay range is CAD$106,000 - CAD$146,000 at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training. The upper end of the range is typically reserved for candidates with demonstrated expertise that is above job requirements or who bring exceptional directly transferable experience.
