The Role:

    • Manage and assist Analysts on multiple Sell and Buy-side M&A projects and other financial advisory engagements
    • Play the lead role in the day to day execution of assignments while insuring project deadlines are met and issues are addressed in a timely manner
    • Team lead in all phases of the closing process from data room management; due diligence, and responding to clientele inquiries
    • Create, review and optimize confidential information memoranda, management presentations, marketing pitches, and other M&A presentations
    • Participate in the new business development process through lead identification, scheduling introductory meetings and facilitating partner participation
    • Establish yourself as subject matter expert through providing insight of the industry, current dynamics, and market trends with colleagues and external clients
    • Relationship building through industry specific networking events, business development outreach and marketing publications
    • Deliver additional support to VP/Partners on client and transaction management

Requirements:

    • Minimum of 3 years of post-undergraduate work experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or transaction advisory
    • Display leadership attributes, possess ability to mentor analysts and foster strong teamwork and cooperation
    • Exude confidence in a client facing, consultative environment
    • Entrepreneurial spirit and desire to work in a collegial/collaborative environment
    • Experience in the Aerospace, Defense, and Government services industry a plus
    • B.A./B.S./B.B.A. in Finance or Accounting, MBA preferred
