About us:
We are NCS Australia! We have brought together Australia’s best tech talent, working as one to harness technology and advance our communities, to make the extraordinary happen.

We're proud of our rich history of partnering with our clients to develop end to end digital technology solutions to accelerate their transformation and innovation journey. For over 40+ years our diverse global teams have delivered large-scale, mission-critical, multi-platform projects to governments and enterprises.

About the role:

We are seeking a proficient Technical Business Analyst to determine IT business requirements and translate them into technical project plans. You’ll play a pivotal role in Change Management activities, ensuring projects meet business objectives and budgets while providing leadership to other analysts in the planning and execution of plans.

This role emphasises the human side of organisational change, encompassing systems and technology, job roles and skills, and organisational structures. By boosting employee engagement and integrating technology and operations, you’ll drive utilisation and proficiency, leading to tangible business outcomes.

Your duties will include conducting thorough analyses, facilitating discussions, and organising data to reconcile conflicts, elicit requirements, and differentiate solution ideas from core business needs. Collaboration is key in aligning documentation with requirements and considering security and operational elements throughout development and post-deployment phases.

If you’re skilled at navigating the intersection of business and technology, and passionate about driving organisational change and innovation, we encourage you to apply for this dynamic role.

About you:

    • 5+ years’ work experience in solutioning and full systems development through to operationalising environments.
    • Ability to effectively influence and lead multiple levels of an organisation through functional boundaries.
    • Strong technical knowledge of transition to operation, operational release, resilience and day to day process efficiencies and playbooks.
    • Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and experienced in using Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
    • Solid knowledge of relevant technology concepts (e.g. client-server, relational databases, and web-based architectures, cloud, security, and resilience).
    • Author functional and/or technical specifications for client implementations including operational processes, transitional artefacts, and built documentation.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including prioritising and managing multiple tasks, including problem solving and interpersonal relationship building.
    • Define and drive the client acceptance testing process to identify required changes and communicate changes to development.
    • Excellent planning and follow-up skills and ability to meet deadlines.
