The ADS (autonomous driving system) team is developing an AI system for both public roads and racing infrastructure, as we are a partner and a member of Roborace: we develop control programs for Robocar (an all-electric and fully autonomous racing car) and also work on ADAS development.
 
We are currently looking for an experienced Algorithm Developer (Senior C++ Developer) who will work on a module for vehicle path planning: lane-level path, lane changes, obstacles avoidance, and intersection passing.
 
In this project, you can develop your programming skills (writing reliable C ++ code using automotive standards, thinking through the architecture), as well as knowledge in mathematics and algorithms to develop fast methods for addressing path planning optimization problems according to the environment.

Expertise and skills required:

    • Profound knowledge in math: mathematical optimization, graph theory, dynamic programming;
    • Proven skills in C ++ development;
    • Experience in independent research tasks;
    • Linux programming experience;
    • Knowledge and experience in matlab / octave / R / python modelling packages (scipy, numpy, ...);
    • Knowledge of algorithms and data structures;
    • Command of English at the Intermediate level, sufficient for reading technical literature and scientific articles and communicating with foreign counterparts.
