Who We Want
The Director of Integrations role is a position where you’ll be able to apply your knowledge of various technology integration. You’ll be working on services supporting technology around EDI, API dataflows, tracking services, and other third-party tools connecting into our proprietary tools. This role will need to directly impact the design, mapping, and development combined with your passion for leading internally and externally facing technical teams in an organization experiencing rapid growth and technological transformation! This position will give you the opportunity to help lead a team to transform our internal and external partner engagement, data management, scalability, and impact strategy and implementation from the ground up alongside industry experts.

As the Director of Integrations, you will develop and maintain a team focused on the various, high-impact tools and services that connect into our platform, servicing our customers needs through every day operations. You will need to develop and identify improvements to current processes that drive productivity and quality of the team and services. In this role you will work with leadership to establish department goals and objectives. As a manager you will evaluate performance and hold direct reports accountable for performance and address any performance issues appropriately.

What You’ll Do

    • Responsible for the overall performance and deliverables of all team members that report under them. Ensure the team is aligning their performance with the overall Technology goals and Enterprise IT roadmap. 
    • Develop, implement, and maintain a team training program to effectively translate technical EDI processes into business speak for broad understanding, including training documents and materials. 
    •  Direct operations of the department and inspire, motivate and lead the team to success. Hire, develop, promote, and performance manage employees as needed. 
    • Collaborate with Technology leadership and other senior leaders to design, implement, and drive a strategic growth plan for the continued evolution of services, tools, engagement, and processes that allow our technology to continue to advance and grow with the needs of our business.
    • Identify, build, and monitor your team's KPIs. Own and analyze reports to measure the effectiveness and impact of all initiatives. Provide updates to Senior and Executive Leadership about progress and perspectives of the work of the organization. 
    • Effectively lead projects through a full project lifecycle, engaging with your direct team, external service providers, business stakeholders, trading partners, VANs, and internal product development teams.
    • Understand the different technologies involved in EDI data transformation, RestAPI, and best practices with Third-Party services that drive our business.
    • Concurrently manage and delegate multiple projects at varying stages of the life cycle, maintaining constant communication with stakeholders on status and resolution, striving for excellence in service delivery.
    • Closely collaborate and guide your team to prioritize, develop, manage, and troubleshoot EDI services; review work, and provide constructive help and support.
    • Work closely with your team, business partners, internal stakeholders, and product development to ensure we are meeting their expectations in service delivery.
    • Be the go-to expert for all aspects of integrated technology stack in support of communications, data transformation and integrations.
    • Be a technology thought leader, translating tactical asks to support the long-term vision for zero-touch loads and integrations as a platform for seamless automation. 
    • Strive for excellence and simplicity for the implementation offering and modernize the EDI platform by keeping up with new and innovative ways of integrating with trading partners.
    • Provide post-production support internally and externally to ensure implementations are successful, leveraging proactive communication and check-ins to keep stakeholders engaged.

Qualifications

    • 10+ years demonstrated EDI, API, or other Third-Party integrated service experience in a logistics or medical environment, including EDI X.12 standards. 
    • 5+ years of leadership and management of a team of engineers and specialists.
    • Experience driving initiatives and leading people through change, while holding teams accountable for results and ensuring continuous improvement.
    • Tolerant of change! This role is in constant evolution as we demonstrate the ever-increasing value of automation.
    • Positive attitude, service-oriented mindset, high-touch communication style.
    • Obsessed with technology and innovation with constant out-of-the-box thinking.
    • Experience creating and maintaining EDI-based business translations that exchange electronic messages with internal and external systems, using web methods and proprietary internal applications.
    • Experience with multiple industry-standard EDI tools.
    • Understanding of database structures and data relationships, object-oriented programming and component-based development.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate internally across business verticals.
    • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. 
    • Detail-oriented approach with ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
