Who We Want
The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for configuring and developing the Workday system and providing ongoing support by being a subject matter expert for Workday questions and Jira ticket resolutions. This position will require issue resolution, partnering closely with HR teams to identify gaps in existing processes or operations, and leading various Workday system enhancements to continue to scale Workday capabilities for Arrive.

What You’ll Do

    • Provide configuration and design support for the following Workday Areas (but not limited to): HCM, Benefits, Time off & Absence, Talent, Reporting, Complex Security Design/Creation, and integration error support
    • Use knowledge of SCRUM/Agile methodologies to assist with Technical Workday projects with HRIS Manager supervision and guidance.
    • Configuration and technical knowledge of Atlassian (Jira) to not only resolve tickets but create Project dashboards, sprints, and resolve issues.
    • Provide Tier 1 & 2 Support for HRIS Technical issues.
    • Understand and translate the priorities of the business into system/process solutions within Workday and communicating technical decisions and design to non-technical stakeholders. 
    • Act as a SME for HR processes as they relate to various HR systems.
    • Evaluate incoming requests from various groups, identify appropriate solutions and complete them.
    • Identify gaps in existing processes or operations when business needs change and provide solutions.
    • Lead configuration and development of the Workday system while being the Domain Expert (SME) to multi-functional teams.
    • Work as a contact for Workday questions, issue resolution and Workday account maintenance.
    • Partner with HR teams to deliver and test system enhancements or new products being enabled within Workday.
    • Prepare, deliver, and schedule Workday reports to collaborators across the company.
    • Use the Workday Community site to fix and identify ways to better use the system.
    • Assist with critical system maintenance including Workday semi-annual releases, required end of year system auditing, and operational tasks within Workday.
    • Work effectively and independently on assigned projects.
    • Conceptualize and complete Proof of Concepts for Workday products, as needed.
    • Partner with Integrations Engineering to test connectors with external systems and provide support in testing. Familiarity with external system Integration feeds and set up.

Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related certifications.  
    • 3+ years of experience designing, testing, deploying, and supporting Workday functionality in a complex environment.
    • Understand Workday reporting functionality and capable of creating various types of Workday reports and calculated fields.
    • Understanding of Workday EIBs and Core connectors. 
    • Superb communication and collaboration skills and ability to interface directly with business users.
    • Superb attention to detail when designing and building workday modules.
    • Understanding and being able to follow Data Privacy Compliance requirements.
    • Advanced Microsoft Office tools expertise.
