Arsenal Biosciences, Inc. is seeking a Biosample Manager to join the Translational Sciences Operations team. This is a contract position, and the individual will report to the Senior Director of Translational Sciences Operations. This individual will work cross-functionally with both internal and external stakeholders to plan, coordinate, and manage all operational activities required to manage the lifecycle of clinical biosamples.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Operationalize the biomarker strategy in collaboration with translational scientists.
- Guide protocol and informed consent form development to ensure logistical feasibility of biosample handling, alignment with planned analyses, and ICH/GCP compliance
- Manage kit design, sample processing, collection, storage and shipping to ensure that the investigator sites meet the sample handling needs of the study
- Participate in the CRF development process to ensure that biosample information is accurately captured for sample tracking and reconciliation purposes
- Manage laboratory vendors, including technology transfers, budgets, contracts, data transfers, and communication plans
- Manage sample tracking, query resolution, and sample reconciliation
- In partnership with the Study Lead, provide adequate training and guidance to the investigator sites and study monitors for biosample collection, handling and shipment
- Participate in functional and cross-functional team meetings and provide regular biosample metrics/trends and status updates
- Develop and maintain biosample-related SOPs and WPs and provide training to internal stakeholders
- Manage the vendor selection process and participate in vendor audits
- Cultivate and foster strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure program level consistency of biosample collections, processing, storage, and analysis
WHO YOU ARE
- B.S./ B.A. or Higher in biological sciences with 5+ years of relevant industry experience
- Knowledge of FDA & ICH/GCP regulations and guidelines
- Proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other relevant applications
- Demonstrated track record of sample management, data management and vendor contract management
- Skilled in managing workflows and complex data sets, and proficient in navigating vendor-specific database platforms
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with strong analytical abilities and keen attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment;
- Collaborative team player who partners effectively across cross-functional clinical study teams.

The estimated base salary for the preferred primary location of the San Francisco Bay area ranges from $63.08/hour - $ 77.26/hour. Salary ranges for other locations may vary. Base pay offered may vary based on job-related knowledge, experience, education, and location.
