ArsenalBio, a privately held, clinical-stage programmable cell therapy company engineering advanced CAR T therapies for solid tumors, is seeking a talented Research Associate to work on-site based in our South San Francisco office.

We are seeking an outstanding senior research associate for our flow cytometry team to work onsite at ArsenalBio’s South San Francisco office. Qualified individuals will have a background or strong willingness to learn flow cytometry instrument operation and maintenance, sample preparation, and staining procedures/optimization. The ideal candidate will work closely with scientists to perform flow cytometry assays and operate instruments that will enable key scientific decisions. The candidate will perform daily maintenance and repair of instruments as well as maintain reagents. The successful candidate will work closely with various teams within ArsenalBio in a matrixed environment in order to coordinate tasks and prioritize projects to meet deadlines.
What You Will Do:
- Maintain flow cytometry equipment (e.g. perform daily QC, cleaning functions, log and troubleshoot performance problems, etc)
- Operate flow cytometry analyzers and cell sorters
- Ability to accurately execute standard operating procedures for sample preparation, staining, instrument operation and data acquisition
- Maintain electronic laboratory notebook records of experiments
- Participate in cross-functional studies to advance broad company goals and objectives
What Will You Bring:
- Bachelors in Biology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Immunology and/or a closely-related field
- with 6+ years of combined relevant research experience in industry and academia.
- Strong desire to learn and work collaboratively with the team
- Understanding of flow cytometry assays and the principles of flow cytometry technologies preferred

The estimated base salary offer for the preferred primary location of San Francisco Bay area ranges from $80,200-$98,300.
Salary ranges for other locations may vary from this range. Base pay offered may vary depending on job related knowledge, experience, education, and location. In addition to these factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer.
