ARSIEM is currently looking for a Test Engineer. The position will support one of our Government clients in Annapolis Junction, MD.

Responsibilities

    • Perform testing and validation of software to ensure it meets all measured criteria, closely monitoring edge cases and errors during test. 
    • Work on a team to support a larger organizational effort.

Minimum Qualifications

    • In-depth experience in Testing and Evaluation (T&E) or Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V)
    • In-depth understanding of Computer Network Operations (CNO) tradecraft and effects caused by CNO capabilities
    • Experience with Python (pytest and/or unit test modules preferred)
    • Experience creating virtual environments
    • Ability to perform system-level testing, evaluation, and related activities
    • Ability to create, update, and maintain technical documentation
    • Ability to perform basic software installation and operation tasks
    • Ability to document test results, including successes, failures, and deficiencies
    • Experience communicating both orally and in writing on testing status to technical leads and customers
    • Experience testing applications with and without graphical user interfaces
    • Position requires DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 or higher

LCAT Qualifications

    • Minimum ten (10) years experience as a system administrator supporting computer systems running Microsoft Windows NT, Unix, and Linux operating systems
    • Minimum ten (10) years experience as a system administrator, supporting computer network hardware including, but not limited to Bridges, switches, routers, and gateways
    • Minimum ten (10) years experience identifying and resolving SIGINT network system issues with IT hardware such as repeaters, bridges, routers, gateways, and hubs and operating systems such as Microsoft Windows and Windows NT, Sun Solaris, and Linux
    • Able to install, configure, and use personal security products including host and network-based firewalls and intrusion detection systems
    • Minimum ten (10) years experience working in an IT engineering lab loading (file transfer via electronic storage media), installing and maintaining the operability of commercial off-the-shelf computer and IT equipment and supporting software
    • Minimum ten (10) years experience with computer networking protocols including, but not limited to TCP, IP, UDP, HTTP, DHCP, and DNS
    • Minimum five (5) years experience in C, C++, Perl, Python, or other scripting languages, including threads
    • Minimum ten (10) years experience in systems administration of hardware and software in support of developing and testing SIGINT Information Technology systems
    • Minimum ten (10) years experience in conducting both component and system integration level testing on complex software products
    • Minimum two (2) years combined experience in HTML, XML, and WEB-based Graphical User Interface/portal development
    • Experience using external network communications such as NSAnet
    • Able to develop and deliver briefings, technical presentations, and program documentation to senior program management
Clearance Requirement: This position requires an active TS/SCI with a polygraph. You must be a US Citizen for consideration.
