About Us: Artera is an AI startup that develops medical artificial intelligence tests to personalize therapy for cancer patients. Artera is on a mission to personalize medical decisions for patients and physicians on a global scale.
The Senior Biostatistician is responsible for developing, reviewing, and executing analysis plan and study design and collaborating with external stakeholders on research and development projects, and providing product development support related to biomarker research and statistics.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with academic and pharma partnerships on research and development projects
- Work with the Clinical Development and AI teams to design and execute statistical plans
- Collaborate with the AI team to develop models and perform rigorous testing and validation
- Help prepare data governance and validation documentations for reimbursement and regulatory submissions
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Strong working knowledge in statistical methods for clinical studies (e.g., clinical trials)
- Skilled in R statistical programming
- At least two year of experience working as a biostatistician, experience working in industry is preferred
- Knowledge and experience in preparing regulatory submissions to the FDA
- Master’s degree or higher in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related field
- Experience in drafting and reviewing statistical sections of protocols, plans of analysis for clinical studies is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with AI techniques and the advantages and disadvantages of different approaches, especially with respect to predictive and prognostic classifiers
