Artera is currently seeking a Biostatistician with a strong statistical background and exceptional communication skills to join the team in San Francisco or remotely.
What you will do
- Serve as biostatistician for research and development projects, including academic and pharma partnerships
- Work with the Clinical Development and AI teams to design and execute statistical plans
- Collaborate with the AI team to develop models and perform rigorous testing and validation
- Prepare documentation for regulatory submissions
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong working knowledge in statistical methods for clinical studies (e.g., clinical trials)
- Skilled in R statistical programming
- At least two years of experience working as a biostatistician
- Knowledge and experience in preparing regulatory submissions to the FDA
- Masters Degree or higher in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related field
Nice-to-Haves
- Familiarity with AI techniques and the advantages and disadvantages of different approaches, especially with respect to predictive and prognostic classifiers
- Experience in drafting and reviewing statistical sections of protocols, plans of analysis for clinical studies is strongly preferred
- Biostatistics experience in industry
- Experience working with clinical cancer data
- Familiar with Python
- Experience with SAS
