About Us: Artera is an AI startup that develops medical artificial intelligence tests to personalize therapy for cancer patients. Artera is on a mission to personalize medical decisions for patients and physicians on a global scale.
As a Senior Software Engineer at Artera, you will work with a team of machine learning scientists and engineers to develop and deploy AI-based biomarkers to support the personalization of cancer therapy. You will work closely with our engineering team to build production-grade APIs and serving models that integrate with our clinical product.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Design and develop the backend for Artera’s Distribution Platforms which use AI to provide clinical decision support to oncologists
- Design and develop internal platforms that allow Artera’s AI and Clinical Development teams to ingest gigapixel-scale image data efficiently, manage massive datasets,
- Work closely with members of our Product, AI and Clinical Development teams to understand the needs of different stakeholders and develop platforms and features to
- Conduct code reviews and maintain a high bar for code testability, scalability, and maintainability across our codebase.
Experience Requirements:
- 5+ years of Python experience
- 3+ years of AWS experience
- 3+ years of Docker experience
- SQL and Python-based ORM experience
- Experience with Python web frameworks (Flask, Django, FastAPI, etc)
- Growth mindset and a strong sense of ownership
- Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Strong ability to debug code
Desired:
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Experience with Postgres and Redis
- Familiarity with GraphQL
- Familiarity with React
$170,000 - $210,000 a year
