Artera is seeking a People Operations Coordinator to be responsible for performing a wide range of People and HR initiatives and administrative duties. This person will have demonstrated experience as an excellent multi-tasker with the ability to successfully prioritize and focus on details. They will thrive in a fast-paced environment, not fear ambiguity, and can operate with discretion.

Key Responsibilities

    • Execute employee onboarding, including verifying I-9s and background checks, sending welcome gifts, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring that new employees have all the tools and equipment needed to be successful.
    • Process employment changes including data gathering, completion of applicable documents, securing approval & entry in HR systems.
    • Assist with bi-weekly payroll processing. 
    • Maintain and organize all HR-related records, including employee I-9s, offer letters, medical, etc. 
    • Maintain and update required labor postings and displays; respond to verification requests, such as employment and unemployment verification from government agencies and other entities.
    • Assist the People Operations Director with tactical execution of various programs, such as Learning and Development programs, Trainings, and more.
    • Generate and process reports that provide real-time global visibility across teams and ensure real time data entry.
    • Create monthly engagement plans, creative team events, surprises for birthdays and anniversaries, team-building activities, etc. to support our hybrid culture.
    • Manage logistics for all virtual and in-person company events.
    • Order and coordinate seasonal company SWAG.
    • Manage vendor relationships and assist employees with enrollment and questions.
    • Coordinate and manage team member life cycle and recognition gifts program.
    • Foster and encourage a positive team member experience by ensuring team members have relevant information in a timely manner and encourage events attendance, and adoption of perks and benefits.
    • Support employer branding initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills

    • 1+ year of HR experience is preferred
    • Must be self-starter with the ability to multi-task
    • Must be able to respond to priorities, deadlines, and flexibility
    • Payroll processing experience is required
    • VISA supporting operation experience is not required but preferred
