Articulate is seeking a Sr Brand Designer II to shape our brand’s visual identity and lead the development of large-scale campaigns, brand systems, and brand experiences. This role is deeply involved in concepting for key launches and events, crafting emotional storytelling, and bringing ideas to life across digital, print, and environmental touchpoints.
While this position does not include direct reports, you will act as a mentor and guide for other designers on the team, sharing your expertise and providing valuable feedback to enhance execution and strengthen our design capabilities.

What You'll Do:
- Design Thinking & Storytelling
- Drive the development and evolution of our brand identity, ensuring consistency and alignment across all touchpoints, including creative concepts, art direction, events, branded experiences, digital microsites, and large-scale marketing campaigns.
- Lead concept development and visual storytelling for high-impact brand campaigns, crafting bold, resonant narratives that elevate our positioning and align seamlessly with brand and business strategy.
- Develop visually compelling designs that engage and resonate with audiences, applying design principles and aesthetics to create meaningful narratives.
- Guide creative approaches that can scale across teams, vendors, and collaborators, ensuring systems-level design thinking translates into high-quality execution.
- Design Execution
- Own the execution of major identity and branded experience projects, including campaigns, concepts, asset development, and designing for events.
- Ensure design consistency and high fidelity across brand guidelines, toolkits, and cross-medium assets.
- Influence, guide, and oversee specialty designers, external vendor partners, or other collaborators as necessary to complete and execute projects to the highest caliber.
- Independently scope, prioritize, and manage complex design projects while coordinating with stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery and creative excellence.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Effectively manage cross-functional stakeholders by presenting work with clarity and confidence, guiding teams through creative rationale to enable informed, strategic decision-making and ensure alignment on high-impact brand outcomes.
- Collaborate effectively with marketing, messaging, product, production leads, and other design talent to ensure that your proposed designs are consistent and impactful across all customer touchpoints.
- Act as a creative thought partner to cross-functional partners, articulating design rationale and championing best practices that contribute to the overall brand and product experience.
- Partner closely with production and vendor teams to problem-solve in real time, ensuring creative intent is preserved through implementation.
- Team Citizenship
- Proactively lead design processes to shape design approaches to ensure efficiency and foster collaboration across teams.
- Serve as a mentor to other designers, offering constructive feedback and sharing knowledge to help them excel and contribute to the brand experience.
- Promote a culture of openness, feedback, and inclusivity while evolving the brand design system and visual language at scale.
- Act as a bridge between internal design peers and external collaborators, modeling best practices in communication, quality control, and feedback.
What You Should Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years of design experience with a strong portfolio in brand, visual storytelling, and experiential design, ideally in an agency setting or in-house role with a wide purview
- Proven success in brand campaigns and agency work, focused on compelling visual narratives
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma with a strong understanding of its features
- Expertise in visual design & art direction, including brand identity and guidelines
- Strong understanding of brand identity and a power of storytelling, you foster a creative culture of innovation, positivity, and growth
- Excellent presentation and communication skills; able to align creative direction with strategic business needs
- Experience mentoring teams and providing constructive feedback
- Passionate about building iconic brand moments, creating unique event experiences, and developing identity systems that scale across new formats and channels
- Self-motivated, able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines while being a resilient and reliable team player working closely with cross-functional teams

$122,600 - $183,800 a year
The pay range for this position is $122,600 to $183,800 for all US locations. This range reflects the minimum and maximum amounts we believe in good faith, at the time of this posting, are appropriate for this role. Actual compensation may vary, subject to future adjustment as needed. Articulate considers a wide range of factors in making compensation decisions, including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs. This position is also bonus eligible. This position is eligible for Articulate’s robust suite of benefits which are detailed here.

This is a US-based role and can be performed remotely from anywhere within the United States. Occasional travel for company events may be required. Employees must physically reside and work within the US throughout their employment and must immediately notify Articulate of any change of address.
