Articulate is looking for an experienced Director to lead our dynamic E-Learning Heroes community platform. The Director will lead the development and execution of scalable programs, events, and content that consistently deliver value to the business and our community members.
This role involves creating and measuring meaningful interactions that drive engagement aligned with Articulate’s business goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in community development, management and e-learning, with a passion for enhancing customer experiences while delivering key business outcomes.
What You'll Do:
- Develop, implementing, and driving a comprehensive strategy to engage and grow our customer community
- Align community goals with Articulate’s business objectives and ensure they support customer retention, engagement, and satisfaction
- Oversee the facilitation of discussions, events and gamification strategies to enhance user engagement and encourage user-generated content
- Build and manage a team of high-performing community professionals, providing strategic guidance and mentorship
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to build and enhance community features, functionality and impact
- Define and prioritize product features and enhancements based on user feedback, market research, and business needs
- Gather and analyze user feedback to identify areas for improvement for Articulate’s products and the community platform
- Manage content creation and curation that addresses customer needs and promotes community engagement
- Build strong relationships with key community members, influencers, and advocates.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for community success and regularly track and report on these metrics
- Leverage data and insights from community members/stakeholders to make informed decisions and optimize the community experience
- Act as the voice of the customer within the organization, providing insights and feedback from the community
- Build and deliver engaging content while serving as an industry thought-leader at live events like workshops and conferences
What You Should Have:
- 8+ years community management experience, preferably within a SaaS or technology company
- 5+ years leadership experience managing customer-facing teams
- 3+ years experience using Articulate products in the e-learning space
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences
- Demonstrated ability to make data-driven decisions
- Passion for creating outstanding customer experiences through technology
- Experience building and delivering engaging presentations to live audiences at conferences, trade shows, and workshops
- Experience with Khoros and Salesforce are strongly preferred
$150,200 - $225,200 a year
The pay range for this position is $150,200 to $225,200 for all US locations. Articulate takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
