Denver, CO - Artifact Uprising is looking for an experienced and innovative product leader to join our executive team. Partnering with the head of engineering and other executives, this role will oversee the digital experience roadmap and foster innovation at the company. This role manages the product and UX team members which oversee all of our applications, including: e-commerce, customer product creation, photo management, marketing, supply chain integration, customer service, data management, security, and internal tooling. 

An ideal candidate will have led product teams in e-commerce / consumer businesses through growth oriented phases. This person is commercially oriented and balances both data and intuition to guide our roadmaps and quickly make decisions. This person is comfortable in a fast-paced and fluid business environment and has a passion for delighting customers. This person creates an environment in which every team member can reach their fullest potential and can think critically and encourage themselves and others to create the best outcomes for the customer and the business. 

This role is a member of the Artifact Uprising executive team and reports to the Chief Executive Officer.

Job Responsibilities

    • Develops a product road map that drives meaningful experience differentiation and revenue growth.
    • Can translate customer feedback into product features and priorities that help A|U create value and differentiation and drive growth and increased customer satisfaction.
    • Brings product thinking to entire operations of A|U, from front-end customer interaction to backend operations, to create experiences that deliver value.
    • Communicates and collaborates closely with functional teams (e.g., engineering, physical product, marketing, supply chain, etc.,) to ensure customer requirements and market dynamics are being effectively addressed in the product offering.
    • Provides strategic vision as well as tactical planning and execution direction to the product team.
    • Builds and coaches the product team to ensure that the team is supported and guided to build a high-caliber organization. Sets bold, yet realistic and practical goals for the team with clear objectives regarding measurement, results, and accountability of actions.
    • Establishes product management as a key organizational competency, executing against goals and timelines.
    • Participates in the strategic, annual, quarterly, and monthly planning processes to ensure effective alignment among company strategy, operating plans and resource capacity.

Qualifications

    • 6+ years of experience building and managing product and UX/UI teams and experience working in consumer-facing organizations with a focus on e-commerce 
    • Experience in establishing product management best practices and ability to set a vision and roadmap for the organization and be capable of evangelizing the roadmap across the company
    • Ability to understand customer needs and prioritize digital experiences to drive “product led growth” for the organization and ability to utilize A/B testing to improve conversion
    • Ability to create a collaborative environment by building relationships across the company and utilize these capabilities to foster a positive, constructive culture within the product, technology, and cross functional teams
    • Capacity to create great outcomes by listening well, pulling from experience, looking and data and customer feedback, and appropriately balancing short term versus long-term considerations
    • Ability to be creative, practical, and appropriately scrappy with resource constraints
$200,000 - $250,000 a year
