Job Overview:
The Virtual Marketing Assistant will support a tutor who has launched online courses. The primary goal is to build a strong marketing foundation, attract clients, and generate course sales. This role will involve creating marketing materials, managing social media, and setting up efficient systems
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a lead magnet to attract prospective students to the Squarespace website
- Create and manage Facebook content and paid advertising campaigns
- Use Blaze to schedule and maintain consistent posting
- Write and send marketing emails (including promotional campaigns and newsletters)Integrate and manage Calendly for booking appointments
- Collaborate directly with the client to establish marketing processes during the first month and maintain them thereafter
- Monitor and report on marketing campaign performance
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Proven experience in digital marketing and email marketing copywriting
- Social media management skills (Facebook ads experience required)
- Familiarity with Squarespace and lead generation strategies
- Strong written English skills for email and ad copy
- Comfortable with PST working hours, including late evening overlap
- Ability to work independently and help structure marketing processes
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Knowledge of course marketing strategies for tutors/educators
- Experience with Blaze or similar scheduling tools
- Basic design skills for ads and lead magnets
