We’re hiring for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) with a strong software sales background or a technical/engineering foundation. This role is perfect for someone who understands the nuances of selling tech products, can speak the language of engineers and decision-makers, and thrives in a fast-moving, startup-like environment. You’ll work closely with the founder or sales team to generate leads, qualify prospects, and help grow the customer base through a value-driven, consultative sales approach.
Key Responsibilities:
> Identify and research ideal prospects using LinkedIn, email tools, and CRM platformsInitiate contact with potential customers via email, cold calls, and social outreach.
> Clearly articulate product features and technical value to decision-makers.
> Qualify leads and schedule discovery calls or demos for the founder or sales lead.
> Maintain and update CRM with prospect data, follow-ups, and pipeline statusCollaborate with marketing or product teams to share prospect feedback and pain pointsTrack and meet KPIs for outreach, qualified leads, and handoffs.
Must-Have Qualifications:
> 2+ years of experience as an SDR, BDR, or sales-focused role in software, SaaS, or tech.
> Strong understanding of software/engineering products (bonus if you have a technical degree or experience).
> Confident communicator with excellent English (written and spoken)Proven track record of booking qualified calls and converting cold outreach into warm leads.
> Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar
> Self-starter with strong time management and resilience.
Nice-to-Have:
> Technical background in Engineering, Computer Science, or similar field.
> Experience selling into mid-market or enterprise companies.
> Understanding of common technical decision-makers (e.g., CTOs, Product Managers, Developers).
> Startup sales experience or working directly with a founder-led sales process.
