About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Website Designer/Developer to refine and maintain a
WordPress-based site for a spirituality and meditation business. The focus is on making the
website more user-friendly, visually aligned with the brand, and functional through
coding/customization where needed.
Key Responsibilities
● Customize and optimize an existing WordPress template.
● Improve website navigation and user experience (UX).
● Implement coding changes to enhance design and functionality.
● Ensure mobile responsiveness and fast load times.
● Coordinate with founder on updates, branding, and content.
● Maintain version control and backups of site updates.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience in WordPress design and development.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and PHP.
- Experience with plugins, themes, and WordPress customization.
- Ability to translate brand guidelines into website layout and design.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Nice-to-Haves
- Familiarity with SEO best practices for WordPress
- Experience designing for wellness , lifestyle , or spiritually brands.
$500 - $1,100 a month
