About the Role
A real estate rental and acquisitions company is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of property management as well as provide light assistance on the acquisitions side. This role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to manage tenant interactions, rental systems, and basic real estate admin tasks.
Key Responsibilities Property Management Support
● Monitor TurboTenant (9 AM – 5 PM EST) for tenant communications, maintenance requests, and payment updates.
● Respond to tenant inquiries and escalate issues to the property owner when needed.
● Track rent collections; reconcile monthly payments including receipts from outside payments (cash/checks at the bank).
● Post and update rental listings via TurboTenant and Zillow, ensuring accurate descriptions and photos.
● Coordinate rental showings by aligning prospective tenant availability with the property owner’s schedule.
Acquisitions Support
● Draft simple real estate documents (e.g., Letters of Intent) using provided templates.
● Assist with admin tasks related to purchasing, selling, and managing properties.
● Conduct light market or property research if required.
Must-Have Qualifications
● 3+ years of experience in property management support, real estate admin, or virtual assistance.
● Strong communication skills – able to handle tenant emails, messages, and occasional phone calls professionally.
● Proficiency with property management systems (TurboTenant preferred) and real estate listing platforms (Zillow, Apartments.com, Rentals.com, etc.).
● Highly organized with attention to detail for payments, records, and scheduling.
● Proactive problem solver with strong follow-through.
Nice-to-Have Skills
● Experience drafting real estate documents (LOIs, leases, or related templates).
● Knowledge of U.S. property management processes.
● Familiarity with tools like Google Workspace, ChatGPT or other automation tools for drafting listings/descriptions.
