Job Description

You’ll own a mix of strategic content projects (1–4 weeks) and quick ad-hoc admin/ops tasks. Strategic work includes researching, drafting, and publishing blog posts, creating and scheduling LinkedIn content, and occasionally setting up new tools (e.g., a CRM). Ad-hoc tasks are smaller items added to your backlog (e.g., “create a feedback form,” “update the company bio”), where you’ll execute quickly, communicate status, and close the loop.

Core Responsibilities

    • Content & Publishing
    • Research topics, outline, draft, and edit blog posts that match the brand voice
    • Create, schedule, and monitor LinkedIn posts (founder + company pages)
    • Repurpose content into short updates, carousels, simple visuals, and summaries
    • Light on-page SEO basics (headlines, meta, internal links) and performance tracking
    • Backlog & Admin/Operations
    • Maintain a task backlog (e.g., ClickUp/Asana/Trello), prioritize with the client, and hit agreed SLAs
    • Execute quick tasks: build simple forms, update bios/profiles, tidy docs/spreadsheets, light research
    • Stand up or tune simple systems (e.g., CRM setup, basic automations, templates, checklists)
    • Quality, Communication & Speed
    • Use AI tools to accelerate drafts, idea lists, briefs, and QA—but always human-edit for tone/clarity
    • Proactively flag blockers, propose better processes, and keep stakeholders informed
    • Track outcomes (content cadence, task cycle time, basic analytics)

MUST HAVE

    • AI-literate: hands-on with tools like ChatGPT/Claude, Grammarly, Notion AI, etc., to speed ideation and polish
    • English fluency with strong sense for tone, clarity, and audience (you know what “good” looks like)
    • Content ops experience: briefs, outlines, first drafts, edits, and platform publishing (CMS/LinkedIn)
    • Backlog management: Kanban/sprint habits, clear ETAs, fast cycle times, crisp status updates
    • Tool agility: comfortable learning/setting up light systems (e.g., forms, simple CRM, templates)
    • Detail & quality focus: self-QA, link/file hygiene, consistent naming, on-page SEO basics
    • US business hours overlap for async check-ins and quick turnarounds

Nice to Have

    • CMS experience (WordPress, Webflow, Ghost)
    • CRM familiarity (HubSpot, Pipedrive, or similar)
    • Scheduling/analytics tools (Buffer, Hootsuite, Shield, GA)
    • Light design (Canva, Google Slides) and spreadsheet chops (Google Sheets)
