Role Overview
Support a growing insurance office with high-volume phone outreach to new leads (form fills,
social leads) plus some cold calling. You’ll verify data, expand the quote scope (auto +
home/renters/life), log details in the CRM, and book appointments with a licensed in-house
agent who closes. You’ll also run structured follow-ups (calls, voicemail, CRM tasks) after
quotes are sent to re-engage prospects and schedule close calls.

Key Responsibilities
● Lead Intake & Qualification: Call 30–40 leads/day; verify/complete missing info
(drivers, address, household, coverages).
● Cross-Sell Discovery: Ask about additional lines (home/renters/life) for bundle
discounts.
● Appointment Setting: Book/confirm meetings for licensed closer; manage calendar
holds and reminders.
● Follow-Ups: Work CRM task queues to chase quotes sent; reduce “phone tag” by
scheduling specific times.
● CRM & Data Entry: Enter call notes, disposition codes, and updated PII accurately;
trigger automations where needed.
● Customer Service: Answer basic questions; escalate policy/coverage questions to
licensed agent.
● VoIP Handling: Place/receive calls and texts via the practice’s VoIP (e.g., Open Phone
or similar).

MUST-HAVES

    • Clear, easily understandable spoken English suitable for U.S. Southeast callers (low/neutral accent, strong phone presence).
    • 3–4+ years in phone-based roles (appointment setting, SDR, call center, or insurance CSR).
    • Comfortable with high call volume (30–40 calls/day) and disciplined follow-up.
    • CRM proficiency (logging, task queues, dispositions) and accurate data entry.
    • Works U.S. Eastern Time; reliable internet and headset; professional call etiquette.

Nice-to-Haves

    • Insurance environment experience (terminology, quoting steps, PII handling).
    • VoIP tools (Open Phone/RingCentral), SMS follow-ups, basic email templates.
    • Prior work with personal-lines bundles and quote intake scripts.

    • Mix of inbound (form fills requesting quotes) and cold/warm callbacks.
$500 - $1,100 a month
Employment: Part-Time to start (20 hrs/week) with option to scale Full-Time (40 hrs/week)
Time Zone: U.S. Eastern (work U.S. hours)
